Zona UTM (Universal Transverse Mercator) Indonesia

Yok langsung aja cus ke inti, kita bakal ngobrolin peta pembagian Zona UTM di Indonesia dan Daftar Zone Universal Transverse Mercator buat ibu kota provinsi dan kabupaten di Indonesia yang ada di tabel.

UTM atau Universal Transverse Mercator ini adalah sistem proyeksi peta yang ngebagi semua permukaan bumi jadi 60 zone. Jadi, bumi ini dibagi jadi 60 bagian, dan tiap bagian atau zone ini punya lebar 6° ke arah bujur (longitude). Zone 1 ini mulainya dari 180° BB sampe 174°BB dan terus lanjut ke timur hingga Zone 60 yang mulai dari 174° BT sampe 180° BT.

Sistem koordinat UTM ini make satuan unit meter, nilai awal absis (X) itu 500.000 meter, dan nilai awal ordinat (Y) buat zone yang ada di bagian selatan equator itu 10.000.000 meter. Sedangkan nilai awal ordinat (Y) buat zone yang ada di bagian utara ekuator itu 0 meter. Simpel kan?

Pembagian Zona UTM Indonesia

Bicara soal Zona UTM di Indonesia, kita harus tau dulu nih kalo Indonesia tuh punya lokasi yang super unik. Dengan posisi geografis yang memanjang dari barat ke timur, Indonesia ini melintasi 4 zona UTM, lho! Yup, dari Zona 46 sampai Zona 54.

Nah, keempat zona UTM ini ngecover wilayah Indonesia yang luas banget, dan punya batas-batas tertentu. Mau tau lebih detil? Simak yuk!

  1. Zona 46: Nah, ini zona paling barat di Indonesia. Ngecover wilayah Sumatera dan sekitaran Aceh.
  2. Zona 47: Terus ada Zona 47 yang ngecover bagian tengah dan selatan Sumatera.
  3. Zona 48: Nah, ini zona yang meliputi wilayah Jawa, Bali, dan Nusa Tenggara.
  4. Zona 49 dan 50: Zona ini ngecover wilayah Kalimantan.
  5. Zona 51: Zona ini ngecover Sulawesi, Maluku, dan sebagian Irian.
  6. Zona 52, 53, dan 54: Nah, zona ini punya tugas ngecover wilayah Irian atau Papua.

Jadi, itulah gimana Indonesia ini dibagi dalam beberapa zona UTM. Seru juga kan tau lebih banyak soal geografi negara kita yang kaya dan beragam ini.

Cara Menghitung Zona UTM di Wilayah Indonesia

Buat yang penasaran gimana sih cara ngitung Zona UTM di wilayah Indonesia, tenang, gak usah bingung. Di sini kita akan bahas step-by-step-nya. Jangan lupa, kita membutuhkan informasi tentang bujur atau longitude dari tempat yang mau kita tentukan Zona UTM-nya. Prosesnya gak rumit kok, asalkan kita tau kalo Zona UTM ini dimulai dari 180° BB dan punya lebar 6°.

Yuk kita langsung ke langkah-langkahnya:

  1. Langkah pertama, pastikan dulu longitude dari tempat yang mau kita cari Zona UTM-nya dalam bentuk desimal, bukan derajat-menit-detik. Jadi misalnya, kalo koordinat tempatmu dalam bentik derajat-menit-detik, kamu harus konversi dulu jadi bentuk desimal.
  2. Langkah kedua, tambahin 180 ke nilai longitude itu. Kenapa ditambah 180? Karena kita mau merubah rentang nilai longitude dari -180 sampai 180 jadi 0 sampai 360. Misalnya aja nih, kalo longitude tempatmu itu 106.8, jadi 106.8 + 180 = 286.8.
  3. Langkah ketiga, hasil dari langkah kedua tadi dibagi 6. Karena lebar setiap zona UTM itu 6°. Jadi, kalo hasil dari langkah kedua itu 286.8, dibagi 6 jadi 47.8.
  4. Langkah keempat, hasil dari langkah ketiga tadi dibulatkan ke atas. Jadi kalo hasilnya 47.8, bulatkan jadi 48. Ini berarti tempatmu berada di Zona UTM 48.
  5. Langkah terakhir, jangan lupa kalo buat wilayah di Indonesia, biasanya zona UTM-nya itu antara 46 sampai 54.

Nah, sekarang kita coba praktekan yuk. Misalnya, kamu ingin menentukan Zona UTM untuk kota Bandung yang memiliki longitude sekitar 107.6°.

  1. Kita masuk ke langkah pertama, longitude Bandung sudah dalam bentuk desimal, jadi kita bisa langsung ke langkah kedua.
  2. Dalam langkah kedua, 107.6 + 180 = 287.6.
  3. Lalu kita bagi 6, jadi 287.6 / 6 = 47.93.
  4. Kita bulatkan ke atas menjadi 48.

Jadi, Bandung berada di Zona UTM 48. Mudah kan? Sekarang kamu bisa mencoba sendiri untuk lokasi lainnya. Selamat mencoba!
